Join the Aiken Association of REALTORS® and MLS!
I have my license now what?
Obtaining your real estate license took time and commitment and was your first step on your journey toward your successful career in real estate. Did you know that the term REALTOR® is a registered mark of the National Association of REALTORS® and can only be used by members of the REALTOR®
organization?
All three levels of the REALTOR® organization - local, state, and national - are here to help you succeed as a real estate professional. Becoming a member of the Aiken Association of REALTORS® is quick and simple and delivers a multitude of benefits for all those involved in the real estate industry.
How do I become a member?
The Aiken Association of REALTORS® has two types of memberships: Primary Membership and Secondary Membership.
If you do not need a full membership, an MLS only subscription may suit your needs.
If you are unsure of which membership to choose, please call our Member Services/MLS Coordinator at the Aiken Association of Realtors®/MLS at (803) 648-1891 to guide you. You may also email mls@aikenrealtors.org.
Primary REALTOR® Membership
Primary Membership is a term indicating that you are paying your National and State dues through that REALTOR® Association. If your Broker’s Primary Membership is with Aiken Association REALTORS® and you do not belong to any other REALTOR® Association, you will most likely apply for primary membership. To apply for Primary Membership with Aiken Association of REALTORS®, complete the Primary REALTOR® Application.
Secondary REALTOR® Membership
Secondary Membership means you are already paying your National and State dues through another REALTOR® association. If you join additional Associations, you will join as a Secondary Member. To apply for Secondary Membership with Aiken Association of REALTORS®, complete the Secondary REALTOR® Application.
MLS ONLY REALTOR® SUBSCRIBER
Aiken MLS Only Subscribers are REALTORS® who access the Aiken MLS and can have their Supra keys added to our network, so they can open Aiken lockboxes. They pay NAR and State Dues through another association. MLS fees are paid on a quarterly basis. For subscribers joining during the quarter, fees are prorated monthly. To apply for an MLS Only Subscription, please complete the MLS Only Subscription Application.
I am not a REALTOR®; may I join the Aiken Association of REALTORS®?
You can join the Aiken Association of REALTORS® as a Business Partner Affiliate Member.
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP AFFILIATE MEMBER
The Aiken Association of REALTORS® (AAOR) is launching its Business Partnership Program in 2026, offering Affiliate Members the opportunity to enhance their visibility and showcase their expertise as trusted partners in the real estate community. The application deadline for inclusion on the 2026 Business Partner Banner is January 31, 2026.
Business Partner Affiliate Membership is a special category of membership reserved for individuals who are not actively engaged in the real estate profession but have an interest in the Association's activities, including access to resources, programs, services, and information. Examples are, but not limited to, mortgage bankers, closing attorneys, home inspectors, home warranty representatives, insurance agents, pest control specialists, staging companies, interior design companies and web design companies.
The program provides year-round promotion through various channels, including the AAOR website, social media, emails, and events. It offers an exclusive opportunity to connect with 1,000 REALTORS® who, in 2024, sold 3,146 units with a total dollar volume of over $908 million. Partners also get a listing in a searchable online directory, making it easier for REALTORS® and the public to find them. Additionally, members receive communications like the Weekly Email Update and invitations to exclusive networking events.
