Oversees the operation of the MLS and implements the MLS Rules and Regulations under the guidance of the BOD and according to the provisions of the National Association of REALTORS® MLS Rules and Regulations.
Appointed in July of each year to review nominations for the next year’s Board of Directors.
Bylaws Review Committee
Review AAOR Bylaws, Aiken MLS Rules and Policies/Procedures on an annual basis.
Professional Standards Committee
Statewide Committee- members serve on hearing panels to resolve complaints of alleged ethical misconduct; serves on arbitration panels to hear complaints regarding monetary disputes; and reviews and updates for recommendation to the Board of Directors the Rules of Procedure and Guidelines of the PSAC to conform to NAR policies and the Code of Ethics.
Statewide Committee. Members evaluate ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine whether such complaints/requests warrant further consideration by a Hearing Panel of the Professional Standards.
Makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on the next year's budget. Meets once a year or more as needed.
Legislative and RPAC Committee
Educates membership on legislative issues. Organizes and conducts RPAC fundraising campaigns. Attends local government meetings/events. Plans and conducts candidate screenings for elections.
Programs and Events Committee
Plans and organizes events for our members such as the holiday party and any other planned events.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee (DEI)
The Diversity Committee promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion within AAOR and the communities we serve.
